A Letter from Belle
Dear Ivan,
This is Belle aka Bertha (that was my name as a puppy at Stony Meadows).
Anyway, I arrived here in Arizona on October 21, 2024. I was only 3 months old at the time. My parents tell me that I was such a baby that I didn’t even understand how to walk with the leash and would lay down until they carried me (so embarrassing).
Now I am an athlete. Dad takes me to the dog park EVERY DAY! I run and chase balls and have tons of friends. I have never met a stranger. And I even comfort the new dogs at the dog park who are nervous or skittish. I love everyone and everyone loves me.
I am soft and I love to snuggle and give kisses. And I snuggle up to mom and dad on the couch and even in our big bed.
I have a half brother here in the neighborhood—his name is Asher. Honest Abe is our dad but we have new dads too who love us and take good care of us.
My parents talk about getting me a sister from Stony Meadows someday. That would be so cool!
Gotta go, my parents are making steak for dinner so I’m gonna make puppy eyes until I get a taste.
Thanks for teaching me to be a good dog while I was with you. I was easily house trained and am a very good girl.
